A comprehensive guide to understanding the post-enumeration process, from Draft Electoral Roll publication to the final voter list.
Understanding each stage of the electoral roll revision process after your SIR Enumeration Form submission
Election Commission preparations, BLO deployment, and Electoral Roll preparation commence. BLOs are assigned to specific areas and prepared for door-to-door enumeration.
BLO visits households for enumeration, form distribution, and citizen verification. Last Date to Submit Enumeration Form: 29 July 2026
Draft roll published. Citizens should verify their details and report missing names immediately. This is your opportunity to check and correct any discrepancies.
ERO may verify information, request clarification, ask for supporting documents where required, correct records, and process objections. This is one of the most important stages.
All received claims and objections are decided by the Election Commission. Applicants are notified of the decisions.
Final Electoral Roll becomes effective after completion of the Special Intensive Revision. Your voter record is now finalized.
Submitting the SIR Enumeration Form does not necessarily complete the voter registration process. While many applications are processed smoothly, some applicants may need to participate in additional stages of the electoral roll revision.
What you should know:
Not every applicant will receive a notice from the ERO. Many applications are processed without requiring further intervention. However, being prepared for potential additional requests can help ensure a smooth registration process.

Why is it published?
Why should voters check it?
What to do if information is incorrect:
